Celebrity-owned homes take longer to sell, often require price cuts

It's not uncommon for celebs to lose more than $1 million on their home sales Just because a celebrity has lived in a house doesn’t mean it’s a hot commodity, a new report from Redfin shows. The real estate website crunched the numbers for 60 homes bought and sold by celebrities, then pitted those sales against those of comparable homes in the area. Some of the findings aren’t shocking: celebrity-owned homes tend to be bigger, with more bedrooms and bathrooms, and cost more per square foot than a non-celebrity home.
