Local links: Tourney helps families of slain Dallas officers

The Assist The Officer Foundation Pro-Am at Stevens Park Golf Course raised $71,827.89 for the benefit of the families of the five officers who were killed in the line of duty July 7 in downtown Dallas, the Northern Texas PGA announced. The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department. and their golf professionals, led by Stevens Park head pro Jim Henderson, organized the event in conjunction with the Northern Texas PGA.
