The government's logic over 'British jobs for British workers' has one big flaw

Earlier this week, Home Secretary Amber Rudd announced plans to make businesses draw up lists detailing how many foreign nationals they employ. Under the proposals, firms would have to reveal what proportion of their workers are foreign, in a bid to encourage them to hire more locals. Businesses have widely condemned the proposals, and Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn said that it would "fan the flames of xenophobia and hatred in our communities.
