President Obama's approval rating hits highest mark in second term

On Thursday, CNN/ORC released its latest poll on how people in the U.S. view President Obama. It shows the nation's leader has an overall approval rating of 55%, the highest throughout his second term. SEE ALSO: Trump flubs word during rally Democrats showed a great deal more love than in previous polls, pushing the number up 12 points to 89%. Independents responded similarly, resulting in a 14-point increase to 56%.
