Snapchat Parent Snap Planning $25B IPO, Says WSJ

The Wall Street Journal’s Maureen Farrell, Juliet Chung and Rolfe Winkler this afternoon write that privately held social network purveyor Snap Inc., creators of the Snapchat messaging program, is “working on an initial public offering” worth $25 billion, possibly by March, citing multiple unnamed sources. The authors note this would be the biggest offering on a U.S. exchange since Alibaba Group Holding’s (BABA) offering in 2014.
