Newswire: Amazon delves into real-life terror with a TV version of horror podcast Lore

Amazon used its New York Comic Con panel Thursday afternoon to announce a new, unscripted venture: a series based on the podcast Lore, which deep dives into the origin stories of horror mythologies. Lore host Aaron Mahnke and The Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd came out on stage to tease the unscripted project, which Hurd explained will combine “historical mixed media, narration and reenactments” to tell its tales.
