The NBA is close to avoiding a lockout next year, per report

The NBA and the National Basketball Player’s Association could finalize a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the two sides are optimistic that they could sign it within weeks, according to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski. If signed, the agreement would come a couple months in advance of the current CBA’s opt-out date, Dec. 15, ensuring there will be no lockout in 2017.
