Republicans bringing out big guns against Cortez Masto in Nevada

The most popular politician in Nevada is Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval, and the GOP there is strategically using him to try to wrest the Senate seat Harry Reid is retiring over to their column.  The Reno-only buy, obviously designed to shore up Heck's numbers in Nevada's swing county, is about $900,000, a knowledgeable source told me. Sandoval is by far the state's most popular elected official, with an approval rating that easily crests 60 percent in most polls.
