Investors Sold Domestic Mutual Funds, Bought ETFs Last Week

Citi takes a look at money flows for last week, finding that investors once again pulled their money from domestic mutual funds, although they added money to ETFs. Tobias Levkovich and his team write that equity mutual funds posted outflows of $4.59 billion for the week ended September 28, ahead of the prior week’s $2.66 billion outflow. By contrast, equity ETFs recovered from their prior week $1.
