The Obama Administration Just Officially Blamed Russia for the DNC Hack

The Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a joint statement on Friday that blames Russia for the recent hacks of the Democratic National Committee and other political organizations in an attempt to influence elections. "The U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is confident that the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of e-mails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organizations," the statement says.
