'Fantastic Beasts' soundtrack will make you say 'Yes, this is the sound of magic'

Yes, this seems to be the sound of magic, if magic had a sound. Following the beloved score of the original Harry Potter series is not what we'd call an enviable task. James Newton Howard, the composer for Fantastic Beasts, apparently took seven months to write the score for the new story in the Potter universe. If the recently released main theme is any indication, Howard's time was time well spent.
