Exhibition puts pioneering British female photographer Olive Edis back in focus

The first-ever comprehensive exhibition to celebrate exclusively the life and work of pioneering British photographer Olive Edis (1876-1955) opened at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday October 8, 2016 until Sunday January 22, 2017, made possible by National Lottery players. Although relatively unknown, Olive Edis was one of the most important photographers of the first half of the 20th century and the first-ever accredited female war photographer.
