Meet Evan Smith, CEO, The Texas Tribune

AUSTIN — Evan Smith doesn’t have much to say about his childhood in the New York City borough of Queens. As the CEO and co-founder of The Texas Tribune, a nonprofit digital news organization founded seven years ago, he’s got a lot to talk about right here in Texas, on which he expounds with geeky enthusiasm. “At this point I’ve been in Texas longer than I wasn’t in Texas,” Smith said.
