Legendary Houston Restaurateur Frankie B. Mandola Has Died

He was 68 years old. It’s a sad day in the Houston restaurant scene today as the city’s chefs and restaurateurs mourn one of their own. According to the Houston Chronicle, Houston restaurateur Frankie Mandola passed away last Friday night after suffering a heart attack. He was 68 years old. "This evening, Frankie B. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Nothing but limitless love for him and each other," reads a post to Mandola’s Facebook page.
