Don’t Let Post-Hurricane Fishing Get You Down

Photo by NOAA Hurricane Matthew  I had just gotten dialed on some bass in a bend in a small river by my house. I’ve been whacking them lately. Of course, the 15 inches of rain and high winds we just got here in NC from Hurricane Matthew are going to change my dialed status for the rest of the season I’m sure. I’ve had quite a bit of experience with hurricanes. I remember Hurricane Gloria in the mid 1980s devastating the landscape around the trout streams and smallmouth rivers in PA where I grew up.
