UFC 202: Conor McGregor fined, ordered community service for throwing bottles and cans at Nate Diaz

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Conor McGregor was called in front of Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) on Monday (Oct. 10, 2016) to answer for his role in the spring water wars of 2016, which also included fellow UFC 202 headliner Nate Diaz. Since his behavior was able to improve pay-per-view buys unbecoming of a professional athlete, according to the imaginary bylaws of the combat sports universe, McGregor was facing a possible fine and suspension for his press conference shenanigans.
