Report: Tiger Woods withdraws from Safeway Open for 'performance reasons'

Your browser does not support iframes. Tiger Woods’ return to the PGA Tour has been delayed yet again. Woods reportedly intends to withdraw from the Safeway Open in Napa, Calif., for what is being dubbed “performance reasons.” Golf Channel and Golf World reporter Tim Rosaforte first reported on Woods backing out of the tournament, saying that the decision wasn’t related to the status of Woods’ surgically repaired back but rather because he is unable to perform to his high standard.
