Hawthornes's Bottle Shop Isn’t Just for Beer Anymore

Wine hits the shelves in Bella Vista A few weeks ago, Eater told you all about the new Pennsylvania law allowing restaurants to sell wine to-go, virtually turning any bar which applies for the extended license into a mini, private wine shop — something Philly’s longed for since food and drink became a priority around these parts. Today, Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico, the owners of Hawthornes, Bella Vista’s breakfast/brunch restaurant with an attached bottle shop, told Eater they’ve hopped on the wine train with over 31 different bottles of 20 different varietals available for purchase in-store or via Quick Sips, the restaurant’s beer — and now wine — delivery service.
