Surgeons are Red, Psychiatrists are Blue

I found this to be a fascinating dichotomy among medical professionals regarding their political affiliations. It raises as many question as it answers. How many of those 47% identifying themselves as GOP who are OB/GYN are pro choice or pro life? Why only 24% of psychologists are Republican, while 67% of surgeons?
