Nas Addresses Police Violence on New Robin Thicke Track “Deep”: Listen

The new Robin Thicke single “Deep” opens with a verse from Nas where he addresses police violence. He raps about police who walk free after being caught on video killing unarmed black men. At one point, he details the conversations he has with his son about police brutality. “Can’t play with your water gun, son, ‘cause the police see a 7-year-old as a threat. They think it’s right to kill a 7-year-old on sight ‘cause he ain’t white.
