CAPTAIN MARVEL: Feige Reveals The Nature Of Heroine's First Film

A couple of years ago, a report made the rounds that Marvel honcho Kevin Feige wanted to move away from origin stories. At the time, there was a lot of chatter about "superhero fatigue" being on the horizon, and so Feige's evolving philosophy seemed to be an attempt to get out in front of that by essentially saying, "We're going to move away from the old formula because we know it's getting predictable.
