Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman announces new album, shares video, immediately gets back to work overdubbing more vocals

Remember a few weeks ago when the notably-tall musician Dave Longstreth cryptically announced a forthcoming Dirty Projectors record by releasing a video for the song “Keep Your Name”? Well, now Dirty Projectors’ notably-honeyvoiced Amber Coffman has ALSO announced that she’s releasing her own, L.A.-recorded solo album, City of No Reply, to be released at some point on an obscure, boutique, restlessly experimental label (named after restlessly-experimental explorer Christopher Columbus) called Columbia Records.
