NYC pharmacy introduces 7% 'man tax' for male customers

Paying extra for the same product is nothing new to women. One pharmacy wants to even things out. On Tuesday, Soho's Thompson Chemists switched up gender-specific prices when they posted a sign in their window offering products tax-free to women while men must pay a 7 percent "man tax." This decision shed light on the "pink tax," the additional amount charged to women for bathroom items, such as tampons.
