Oculus pulls Gear VR support for Samsung Note 7 'until further notice'

Oculus no longer supports Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 for use with its mobile Gear VR headset, according to a statement on the company's website (via UploadVR). "Customer safety is our top priority. Oculus is removing support for all Note7 devices on the Oculus platform. Until further notice, Note7 devices will not be compatible with the Gear VR." That Oculus news doesn't come as a surprise.
