WASHINGTON ? Throughout his presidential campaign, Republican nominee Donald Trump has promised that he is beholden to no one but himself. He likes to point to his self-financing of his campaign as evidence of this. In the second presidential debate Sunday and at a rally Monday, Trump continued to claim that he is self-financing his campaign, unlike Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
