Mr. October: George F. Will

They called Reggie Jackson “Mr. October” (and a few called Dave Winfield, disparagingly, “Mr. May”). For me, George Will is a Mr. October, or a Mr. Baseball period. I have done a Q&A with him, on baseball. ’Tis the season, or post-season. I ask him about his boyhood. His parents and grandparents. His Little League career. (“I played briefly and badly.”) His attachment to the Chicago Cubs.
