Stemilt rolls out new consumer-facing website

Ever wonder if a particular variety would be perfect for a specific apple recipe? With the website, consumers can get their questions about apples answered. The site will address inquiries about which varieties are best for baking, salads, smoothies, snacks and more. Brianna Shales, communications manager for Wenatchee, Wash.-based Stemilt Growers LLC, said the website also includes apples the company doesn’t grow, including Eastern and Midwest varieties.
