Dubai Breaks Ground on the World's Tallest Tower

Not content with being home to the world’s tallest skyscraper, Dubai recently announced that it intends to achieve another architectural world record. The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbor, which is set to be completed in 2020, will be the tallest tower in the world. Though the announcement did not state how tall the proposed structure will be, it’ll have to be at least 2,723 feet in height.
