Gold Prices Tick Lower Ahead of Fed Minutes

In less than an hour, the Fed will release the minutes of its last policy meeting. And with analysts shoring up expectations for a December interest rate hike, gold prices fell for a second straight day. Gold for December delivery fell $1.50 per troy ounce, or 0.12% to $1,254.30 on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. The precious metal ticked lower yesterday, marking the seventh decline in the past eight trading sessions.
