Here come the Fed minutes ...

The Federal Reserve will release the minutes of its policy meeting in September at 2 p.m. ET. At the meeting, three FOMC members disagreed with the decision to not raise the benchmark rate. The minutes could hint at why there were divergent views, while concluding that the balance of opinion still tilts towards slow and steady rate hikes. They are not expected to show anything particularly new about the Fed's thinking, and could provide some detail into how the Federal Open Markets Committee is thinking about continuing to raise interest rates.
