Kathleen Miller, actress in three Hal Ashby films, dies at 71

Kathleen Miller, an actress who appeared in the 1970s films The Last Detail, Shampoo and Coming Home for director Hal Ashby, died Friday in a hospital in Lynwood, Calif., after a lengthy illness, her brother Andy said. She was 71. Miller also was in the Broadway production of Butterflies Are Free, which opened in 1969, and had a regular role on the short-lived 1976-77 NBC sitcom Sirota's Court, starring Michael Constantine.
