Fed hiking interest rates last month was A 'Close Call'

Hiking interest rates last month was a close call according to several members of the Fed cited in minutes from the September Federal Open Market Committee meeting. They confirm many members of the Fed are growing restless about raising rates but that the broad group continues to be divided. The majority of Fed officials want to see more evidence of inflation saying there's still multiple headwinds to inflation and some members that even with a jobless rate of five percent there's still too much slack in the labor market.
