Call for signatures: Stop export of Paraquat produced by Syngenta and others in China!

Chinese activists and concerned citizens worry about the plans of ChemChina to take over Syngenta. We are happy to announce, that the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture has plans to re-classify Paraquat from “medium” to “extremely toxic” and has banned all formulations of Paraquat for the use in China. But at the same time we are seriously concerned that the production of Paraquat by Syngenta and others in China for export is explicitly allowed and in 2015 Syngenta even announced its Nantong plant in China was increasing their Paraquat production capacity for export from 6,000 tons to 10,000 tons! This needs to be stopped! Please share and sign the open letter to Mr.
