Projection-type see-through holographic 3-D display technology

(National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT)) The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology has newly developed a projection-type see-through holographic 3-D display technology, in which an optical screen of a digitally designed holographic optical element and a digital holographic projection technique were combined. Holographic 3-D image reconstruction was successfully demonstrated via the see-through screen to a target observation area.
