DeSean Jackson fined for 'caution tape' cleats, but he's OK with that

Washington Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson knew he was going to get fined for wearing cleats that had police caution tape painted on them, but to him it was money well spent. Jackson wore the cleats in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, he said, to bring attention to “the senseless killings of both citizens and police.” He was going to wear them in pre-game warmups only, which would have avoided a fine, but decided his statement was important enough that it was worth the fine.
