Great Job, Internet!: With this Retro Wave tool, any message can be delivered 1980s style

In the 1980s, it seemed like everyone was obsessed with imagining what the future would be like. Judging by the video games, sci-fi movies, and new wave rock albums of that bygone era, people apparently thought that the future would be dominated by cool geometric patterns (lots of glowing grids and triangles) and bright, fluorescent colors (plenty of pinks and purples). Alas, apart from Moonbeam City, those predictions have not come to pass.
