Apple CEO Tim Cook pours cold water on virtual reality: 'There's no substitute for human interaction' (AAPL)

Apple just dropped another major clue about its next big computing platform — and it's not virtual reality (VR). Right now, we're in the middle of a major wave of hype around VR. Sony just brought out the PlayStation VR, and Google recently announced more information about its mobile-powered Daydream headset. Meanwhile, Facebook has Oculus, and HTC has Vive — but Apple has conspicuously yet to announce anything to do with the tech.
