Google Photos begins creating animations from videos, gets smarter about fixing sideways pictures

Google is flexing more of its AI muscles in Google Photos, promising to do much of the work for you when it comes to fixing images, finding memories, or making cute animations you’ll want to share with friends and family. In the latest Google Photos update, the app will begin to ping you about pictures that are sideways but need an adjustment. You’ll then be able to fix them all at once.
