Yao Ming Now China's Ambassador to Mars

Former Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is to become China's new ambassador to Mars, according to the South China Morning Post. It's not yet known whether China's most famous athlete may be expected to team up with the Looney Tunes to defeat aliens in a basketball tournament. For now, Ming's main task is to help publicize China's plan to send a spacecraft to Mars by 2020.
