Frugality and the Challenge of Raising Children

My children get off the school bus each day at around 3:30. The bus stop is two houses down from our house, so as soon as I hear the noise of the school bus near our house, I know that the children will be in the door momentarily. I try to be right there in the living room when they get off the bus, just to provide that little bit of reassurance, so I’ll jot down my thoughts on whatever.
