PEOPLE IN 50 COUNTIES TELL STORIES OF LGBTQ INTIMIDATION, DISCRIMINATION (Charlotte Observer) -- More than 300,000 North Carolinians who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) are denied legal protection from discrimination under a new state law, commonly called House Bill 2.
