Blast from the Past - A look at Japanese Smash Bros. Melee merch

Do you have any idea what this is? I didn't until just a few minutes ago! This is a Melee event disc from Japan. It let players play 2, 3 or 5 minute matches. Seems like it was something stores used for promotional purposes and tournaments in-store. This is just one of the many random items that Nintendo put out for Smash Bros. Melee back in the day.
