Lupe Fiasco Won’t Release Three New Albums This Year After All

Last year, Lupe Fiasco announced that he planned to three albums in 2016: Droga, Skulls, and Roy. Since then, he’s periodically kept fans updated, saying in January that Roy “will be [his] last album.” Today, Lupe has announced via Twitter that there is a “strong chance” he wont’t release a new album this year. He cites “clearances and mixing issues” as preventing him from releasing the recorded material, and pushes the release of Drogas “beyond realistic deadlines.
