A top court in Bahrain on Monday overturned a nine-year jail term against Shiite opposition chief cleric Ali Salman, convicted of inciting hatred and calling for forceful regime change. DUBAI (Reuters) - Bahrain sentenced opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman to four years in jail on Tuesday on charges related to alleged incitement against the ruling system, his Al Wefaq party said on its official twitter account.
