James Harden could put up historic numbers in Mike D’Antoni’s system

Why this is a match made in heaven for both player and coach. James Harden became a divisive figure in the NBA last season. His numbers remained superlative, but his defense was lacking and the Rockets had a disappointing year. That gave his critics all the ammo they needed to attack him following a 2014-15 year that saw him finish second in MVP voting.
