Slow Pulp – “Die Alone”

“Die Alone” is Madison, Wisconsin band Slow Pulp’s introduction to their aptly titled EP2. The dream punk group relents about hopeless romantic ambitions against dissonant guitars and shadowy vocals: “Now you’re gone/ And I know I’ll die alone.” The track’s thumping drumbeat against a lethargic bass evokes a melancholic daydream.
