Drone Injury for Cleveland Indians Pitcher Forces Him to Leave Game With Bleeding Finger

Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer lasted all of two-thirds of an inning in Game 3 of the ALCS Monday night before he bled out of the game and was replaced by Indians reliever Dan Otero. The injury to the 25-year-old’s pitching hand predated Monday’s game; as could only happen in 2016, Bauer cut his pinkie while repairing his drone last week and was forced to missed his scheduled start in Game 2 on Saturday.
