Summer Series ‘BrainDead’ & ‘American Gothic’ Canceled By CBS After 1 Season

CBS’ summer drama series BrainDead and American Gothic will not be coming back next year. This leaves renewed Zoo as the only CBS summer scripted series set to return next summer. Neither of the series performed well in the ratings. Supernatural political satire BrainDead averaged 2.6 million viewers and 0.4 in adults 18-49 (Live+same day). The series had great pedigree, coming from The Good Wife creators Michelle and Robert King.
