Are you in the Inner Circle? A new dating app vets its members

NEW YORK — A new, and very selective, dating platform launched last week in the United States, and it already has roughly 12,000 New Yorkers on board. Amsterdam-based The Inner Circle is just one of several services that have sprung up over the past year with the premise that, by putting up a few hurdles, dating could be easier. The startup maintains that while it is not looking to create"an elite, closed network," it does screen members based on age, education and social network.
