Beantown Hoagie Closes in Downtown Boston

The sandwich train has left the station A sandwich spot in Downtown Boston has permanently closed, cutting off its flow of hoagies, salads, and soups to the neighborhood. Beantown Hoagie at 102 Water St. has been papered over, with no visible indication as to the reason for the closure, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The sandwich place served as a go-to destination for lunch, per a number of reviews on Yelp.
